21/05/2009 - NASA coming to Newcastle
It was announced yesterday on BBC Radio Newcastle by Worldview director Colin Robinson, that Former NASA Astronaut Charles Bolden, a veteran of 4 shuttle missions will be landing in Newcastle Upon Tyne on Monday 15th June.
Charles Bolden is everybody's hot tip to be the next NASA Administrator and has decided to come to Newcastle's Centre for Life to take part in an exhibition designed to get people interested in Science and Technology by giving them a taste of Spaceflight.
The exhibition will be visisted by around 300 school children from the region, as well as adults and parents and will feature a presentation by Charles Bolden as well as an interactive Astronaut Training Simulation provided by Worldview Spaceflight.
